In September 2011, Oak Point acquired KemeX Ltd., the inventor and developer of proprietary, highly efficient modular, portable Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) technology. The made-in-Canada SAGD plants reduce costs and accelerate development cycle times, while significantly reducing the environmental impact of oil sands exploration and development.
