Oak Point Energy Ltd. is a thermal In-Situ oil sands exploration and development company focused on optimal economic recovery of bitumen and heavy oil in Western Canada.  The company is currently active in the Athabasca oil sands region of northeast Alberta where rights to 64,000 gross acres (100 sections) of oil sands lands have been secured.  Oak Point Energy has recently acquired KemeX Ltd., the inventor and developer of unique, highly efficient modular, portable SAGD technology for production on its oil sands leases.  Oak Point Energy plans to deploy this technology in the near term on its Lewis Steepbank properties; and over the longer term on a number of producing prospects.
